Trillia Newbell

Author & Speaker

Trillia Newbell is an author, speaker, and advocate for racial reconciliation in the church whose work challenges evangelicals toward multi-ethnic community and justice. After serving seven years as Director of Community Outreach at the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) of the Southern Baptist Convention, Newbell transitioned to her current role as Acquisitions Director at Moody Publishers, where she evaluates and acquires manuscripts reflecting evangelical values and priorities.

Her books—including United: Captured by God's Vision for Diversity, A Great Cloud of Witnesses, Sacred Endurance, If God Is For Us, and the children's books Creative God and Colorful Us—address racial justice, identity in Christ, and faithful Christian living. Through her writing for Christianity Today, The Gospel Coalition, and Desiring God, Newbell continues to be an important voice calling evangelicals toward reconciliation, biblical community across racial lines, and justice rooted in the gospel.
