Tish Harrison Warren
Tish Harrison Warren is an Anglican priest in the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) and a writer whose work appears in The New York Times, Christianity Today, The Atlantic, and other outlets. She has served as a campus minister with InterVarsity at the University of Texas and Vanderbilt and as writer-in-residence at Resurrection South Austin.
Warren writes from within the liturgical Christian tradition about the spiritual significance of ordinary embodied life—how making the bed, brushing teeth, drinking coffee, and eating leftovers can be sites of Christian formation. Her book Liturgy of the Ordinary won Christianity Today's 2018 Book of the Year, and her later Prayer in the Night reflects on the Compline prayer through her own experience of grief and miscarriage.
