Randy Alcorn

Randy Alcorn is a prolific Christian author, speaker, and founder of Eternal Perspective Ministries (founded 1990), a nonprofit dedicated to teaching biblical truth and helping the needy. After serving as co-pastor of Good Shepherd Community Church in Oregon for fourteen years, Alcorn transitioned to focus on writing and speaking—his primary calling. With more than 60 books translated into over 70 languages and articles distributed in 34 languages beyond English, Alcorn has become one of evangelicalism's most widely-read authors.

His major works include Heaven and If God Is Good: Faith in the Midst of Suffering and Evil, which have sold widely and shaped evangelical thinking about eternal hope and theodicy.
