R. Scott Clark
R. Scott Clark is a Reformed theologian, pastor, and Professor of Church History and Historical Theology at Westminster Seminary California, where he has taught since 1997. After serving as academic dean (1997-2001), Clark distinguished himself as a careful historian of Reformed doctrine and practice. Holding degrees from the University of Nebraska (BA), Westminster Seminary California (MDiv), and St. Anne's College, Oxford University (DPhil), he brings both pastoral and scholarly expertise.
Clark is series co-editor for Classic Reformed Theology (Reformation Heritage Books) and founder of the Heidelberg Reformation Association, the Heidelcast podcast, and the widely-read Heidelblog. His publications include The Heidelberg Catechism: A Historical, Theological, and Pastoral Commentary, Recovering the Reformed Confession, and studies on covenant theology and Reformed orthodoxy, making him a significant voice in contemporary Reformed evangelical theology and church history.
