Marshall Segal

Marshall Segal serves as President and CEO of Desiring God, guiding the ministry's vision of spreading passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples. After graduating from Wake Forest University and earning his Master of Divinity from Bethlehem College and Seminary in Minneapolis, Segal became known for his writing and speaking particularly to younger evangelicals, addressing issues of singleness, dating, and faithful living.

His books, including Not Yet Married: The Pursuit of Joy in Singleness & Dating and contributions to anthologies like Designed for Joy and Happily Ever After, demonstrate his gift for making theological truth accessible and attractive to a young evangelical audience. As an elder at Cities Church, Segal combines pastoral concern with intellectual depth, representing a new generation of evangelical leaders committed to both doctrinal rigor and compassionate engagement with contemporary culture.
