Mark McMinn
Mark R. McMinn is professor of psychology at George Fox University, where he serves as director of faith integration in the Graduate Department of Clinical Psychology. He previously taught at Wheaton College from 1993 to 2006, where he received teacher-of-the-year awards. He is board-certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology and a fellow of the American Psychological Association.
McMinn is one of the most-cited evangelical voices on the integration of psychology, theology, and spirituality. His 1996 book Psychology, Theology, and Spirituality in Christian Counseling—a contemporary classic—argues that prayer, Scripture, sin, confession, forgiveness, and worship belong inside (not outside) the counseling room. His subsequent books extend that integrative project for both clinicians and pastors.
