John Brown of Wamphray

John Brown of Wamphray (1610-1679) was a Scottish Presbyterian minister and theologian known for his faithful pastoral ministry during a turbulent period in Scottish church history. Though he lived through significant religious and political upheaval, he remained devoted to Reformed theology and the advancement of biblical Christianity in his congregation.
