Heath Lambert, M.Div., Ph.D., is an influential leader in biblical counseling who served as Executive Director of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) before transitioning to focus full-time on pastoral ministry. A faculty member at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary since 2006, Lambert holds a doctoral degree in biblical counseling and systematic theology and has authored numerous works on biblical counseling, including The Biblical Counseling Movement After Adams, Counseling the Hard Cases, and A Theology of Biblical Counseling.

Now serving as Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Florida, Lambert continues to shape evangelical approaches to counseling through teaching, writing, and leadership in the biblical counseling movement, particularly on issues related to biblical sexuality, addiction, and the doctrinal foundations of pastoral care. His work represents contemporary biblical counseling's commitment to rigorous theology and compassionate practice.
