Francis Chan
Francis Chan is an American pastor, author, and speaker who founded the nondenominational Cornerstone Community Church in Simi Valley, California (1994) and served as its teaching pastor for sixteen years before stepping away from the megachurch model in 2010. His New York Times bestselling book Crazy Love: Overwhelmed by a Relentless God (2008) challenged evangelicals to move beyond "lukewarm Christianity" and sparked a generational conversation about radical discipleship and countercultural faith, selling millions of copies globally.
Beyond Cornerstone, Chan founded Eternity Bible College (2004) and has authored multiple books including Letters to the Church and Until Unity. Though he stepped back from the megachurch spotlight in recent years, his prophetic voice calling believers to deeper commitment to Jesus continues to influence evangelical thought and practice, particularly among younger Christians seeking authentic spiritual transformation.
