Doug Wilson
Douglas James Wilson (born June 18, 1953) is the senior fellow of theology at New Saint Andrews College and pastor of Christ Church in Moscow, Idaho, the flagship congregation of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches (CREC). A central figure in classical Christian education and postmillennial Reformed circles, he co-founded New Saint Andrews College and Logos School and has been a prolific author for more than four decades.
Wilson is known for his combative, satirical writing style and his advocacy of Christian classical education, paedocommunion, postmillennial eschatology, and a robust application of biblical law to public life. He is a polarizing figure within the broader evangelical world: admired by readers who value his cultural confidence and theological clarity, and criticized by others over his views on slavery, patriarchy, and church controversies in Moscow.
