Diane Langberg
Diane Langberg is a clinical psychologist who has spent nearly five decades caring for trauma survivors and equipping the church to do the same. She directs Diane Langberg, PhD & Associates—a group practice in suburban Philadelphia—and serves on the executive board of the American Bible Society, the boards of GRACE (Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment) and Mission:Network, and as a faculty member of Westminster Theological Seminary's School of Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation curriculum.
Langberg is internationally recognized for her work with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, clergy abuse, and global trafficking, and for her prophetic critique of how power is misused inside Christian institutions. Her writing—especially Suffering and the Heart of God and Redeeming Power—has reframed the evangelical conversation around abuse, trauma-informed care, and the church's complicity in protecting power.
