Christy Nockels Smith
Christy Lynette Nockels (born November 17, 1973) is an accomplished worship artist, singer-songwriter, and worship leader raised in Oklahoma by a pastor father. After meeting her husband Nathan Nockels at a Christian artists' seminar in 1993, she became a worship leader at Metro Bible Study in Houston alongside Louie Giglio's Passion Conference, where they released five albums as the duo Watermark under Rocketown Records.
Following Watermark's retirement in 2006, Christy launched a solo career with sixstepsrecords, releasing albums including Life Light Up and Into the Glorious, while also hosting The Glorious in the Mundane podcast since 2016 and authoring The Life You Long For. As co-owner of Keeper's Branch Records with her husband Nathan, she continues to influence contemporary Christian worship and spirituality through music and digital media.
