Christopher Yuan

Christopher Yuan is an American speaker, author, and faculty member at Moody Bible Institute, where he has taught since 2008. A former dentist whose life unraveled into drug dealing, prison, and an HIV-positive diagnosis, he came to Christ in prison and has since devoted his ministry to teaching the church a biblical theology of sexuality.

Yuan and his mother Angela co-wrote Out of a Far Country, the memoir of his journey and her parallel conversion. His later book Holy Sexuality and the Gospel and the accompanying Holy Sexuality Project have become widely used resources for parents, pastors, and same-sex-attracted Christians who want to think about sexuality through a biblical rather than identity-driven framework.
