Andrew Walker

Andrew T. Walker is associate professor of Christian ethics at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, fellow with the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the SBC, and managing editor of WORLD Opinions. He previously served as director of policy studies at the ERLC.

Walker writes at the intersection of Christian ethics, public theology, religious liberty, and political philosophy. His book God and the Transgender Debate has become a widely-used pastoral resource on biblical anthropology and gender, and his Liberty for All argues for religious liberty as a Christian principle that protects all people, not merely Christians.
