Aie Balagtas See is a Filipino freelance journalist who covers human rights, criminal justice, and the Philippine drug war, with reporting appearing in The New York Times and leading Philippine outlets. Jes Aznar is a Manila-based documentary photographer and regular New York Times contributor who founded the EverydayImpunity project and won a 2026 World Press Photo award for the Asia-Pacific region.
